COVID-19 Annoucement [June 22, 2022] Dear friends and esteemed colleagues,Warmest greetings to all. How have you been? Trust you are all safe and doing well. At the outset, thank you Immensely for extending your incredible support for this conference throughout these uncertain periods. The same is truly remarkable and have surely made our resolve and commitments stronger. This communication is intended to formally share with you the update regarding 2022 9th ISCMI, the annual flagship event of llCCl. Our Core committee recently met to take stock of the present global scenario and based on that, arrive at a formal decision regarding the actual mode of ISCMI 2022. The facts and pertinent information around which the committee members deliberated are as follows: Since my last communication (April 14, 2022), whereas we in India were much better off and experiencing a significant break from high no. of daily Covid-19 cases, a few pockets of Europe, USA and some other parts of the world had been reeling under the onslaught of Omicron's sub-variants. Experts had constantly warned that irrespective of whether there was a wave or not, neither the virus had disappeared for ever nor was likely to in the foreseeable future. Instead they will constantly evolve over time. Hence despite the efficacy of covid vaccines coupled with their sufficient availability now-a-days, it is imperative for us, they advised, to continue to follow Covid-appropriate behavior. Unfortunately, armed with full doses of vaccination, we in India along with residents in many parts of the globe took our health for granted and had practically discarded all the covid precautionary measures. As a result of this premature endeavor to return to normal rhythms of lives, we are now witnessing the inevitable. India is currently experiencing the highest surge in daily covid cases since mid-February'22. Several European nations are also grappling with significant spikes in Covid cases albeit with low hospitalisation and an extremely low death rate. While the world still reeling from the effects of covid pandemic, recent outbreak of monkeypox, another rare but potentially serious virus (hitherto confined in some African countries) in Canada, USA and parts of Europe (especially UK, Spain, Portugal etc.) had complicated the situation even more. Recently the Chief of the World Health Organization shared that the monkeypox virus had hitherto spread to 32 non-endemic countries. He also warned by mentioning that "The global outbreak of monkeypox is clearly unusual and concerning". After taking cognizance of all of the above, Core Committee members had unanimously recommended to organize ISCMI 2022 in virtual format. They have dotted the i's and crossed the t's before advocating that patience and discipline are of paramount importance at this juncture. Afterall, ensuring the safety of our dignitaries and participants had always been our overriding priority. Accordingly, I write to formally announce that ISCMI 2022 will be a full fledged virtual conference. Albeit disappointing, I do hope that this online meeting will enable many more peers to participate from the safety of their homes and/or offices. It is also strongly expected that this conference will continue to generate fruitful deliberations as well as observe bonhomie and mutual respects between the researchers, as had been noticed during the previous 2 virtual meetings. Thanks once more to all and will look forward to receiving your manuscripts in the coming days. With kind regards,

Welcome to the official website of the 2022 9th
International Conference on Soft Computing & Machine Intelligence (ISCMI). The Conference will be held in
Toronto, Canada during November 26-27, 2022.
The main objective of ISCMI 2022 is to present the latest research and results of scientists related to Soft Computing & Machine Intelligence topics. This conference provides opportunities for the delegates to exchange new ideas face-to-face, to establish business or research relations as well as to find global partners for future collaborations. We hope that the conference results will lead to significant contributions to the knowledge in these up- to- date scientific fields.
ISCMI 2022 is organized by India
International Congress on Computational Intelligence(IICCI),
and technically
sponsored by the
IEEE Toronto Section and IEEE Toronto Women in Engineering.
